This single-lane, first-in-first-out, accumulator is designed to carry liquid containers and odd-shaped or unstable products. The concentric up and down tracks provide up to 400 feet of accumulation length (between 2 and 10 minutes of accumulation time). A mobile transfer unit moves automatically up or down the track lengths, transferring products from the up stream to the down stream, in order to extend or shorten accumulation times. Infeed and outfeed are at approximately the same elevation and can accomodate speeds of up to 200 feet per minute.
